Well, look who’s back!!!

Demi Lovato was photographed hanging out, doing a little shopping and then grabbing lunch at the Cheesecake Factory yesterday afternoon.

The actress – who just completed a very private rehab stint – did a little shopping at a mall in LA with her bodyguard and it looks like the public was happy to see her. Fans rushed up and begged for autographs and photos.

Nice to see her out and about. Demi went through treatment to battle ‘emotional and physical’ issues. It looks like she was successfully able to heal.

One the same day Charlie Sheen checked into a rehab center, Demi Lovato checked out of one.

Lovato is already back in Los Angeles, following a two-month stay in an Illinois facility where she fought through what a rep originally described as "emotional and physical issues."

In fact, these photos were snapped of the star this afternoon in Santa Monica. Isn't it nice to see her smiling again?

Demi Lovato will continue to seek treatment in California, as insiders tell TMZ she hopes to return to a "regular routine" that involves a lot of time with her family.

We wish her all the best and truly hope Demi Lovato's problems are all in the past.

I wish to thank all the friends and fans who voted for me for the People’s Choice Awards and the Hot Hits Hottest Teen Stars of 2010. I want to make sure my fans know how thankful I am for all their love, support and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for standing beside me through it all.

I have to say I’m a bit surprised that the star is still receiving treatment with little to no word on when she’ll get back to work. But I am happy that she seems to be taking the time that she needs to get through whatever issues she’s dealing with. I’m sure her fans are happy to see this message though!

Demi Lovato didn’t spend Christmas at her unnamed rehabilitation center. The Disney Star – who is currently dealing with  “emotional and physical issues” – was released for the day and brought to her family’s home to spend the holiday with loved ones.

A source told People Magazine that Christmas is Demi’s favorite holiday and it was very important for her to go home for the day.

“It is the most important holiday to her,” the source says.

Demi Lovato has been in treatment since late October. The last few months have been particularly trying. Between Demi Lovato’s naked pictures, sex tape scandal and lawsuit payout to a former dancer, it’s understandable to see 2010 was a trying year.

After a bit of back-and-forth in the press between attorneys, Demi Lovato has settled with Alex Welch.
Terms of the financial arrangement were not disclosed, but the rehabbing singer will pay the back-up dancer - who she slugged in the face prior to entering a treatment facility in Illinois - a certain amount in order to avoid a lawsuit.

Said Donald Karpel, Welch's lawyer, TMZ: "The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely."

The incident with Welch was reportedly rock bottom for Demi. She sought treatment, remains in seclusion and will hopefully return to public life a stronger, happier individual.

Demi Lovato has put one headache to rest, according to TMZ. Demi has reached a settlement with Alex Welch, the dancer she punched back in October.

Alex will receive compensation in the way of money, but the amount is being held confidential. Alex’s attorney tells TMZ:

“The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely.”

Demi has had a rough end to her year. I hope when she gets out of her treatment facility she can put this all behind her and move on, without any further scandals popping up!

Earlier this afternoon INO reported that a naked photo of Demi Lovato hit the web, and I thought that was bad enough. It’s pretty safe to say this celebrity sex tape scandal knocks that last post right out the park.

Oh boy.

X17 is reporting that Demi Lovato used to have sex with male fans on her tour bus and that her bodyguards were well aware of her escapades. One of those encounters was filmed and the footage has been sold.  In fact, the source says that Demi is “no stranger to filming her sexual exploits.” Could that mean that more than one Demi Lovato sex tape is on its way?

Demi’s rep tells TMZ, “Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumors from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting.”

The rep goes on: “The sourcing on this report is so spotty that it is hard to fully respond. We would ask serious news outlets to strongly consider the source of this story before they regurgitate it.”

The bodyguard who supposedly stood outside Demi’s trailer while Demi filmed a sex tape inside was said to be her uncle, Francisco Lovato.

Lovato’s rep bristles, “Francisco Lovato is the brother of Demi’s estranged father. He never traveled on the tour, and certainly didn’t serve as some sort of chaperone.”

I’m guessing this is true. If there was a tape, there would be no use issuing an outright denial since the tape would prove the denial was false. But those cleavage pictures seem real…

Demi Lovato has really had a rough go of it lately. She’s supposedly in rehab for substance abuse issues. And now, on top of that, one of her backup dancers wants to sue her after an incident where Demi allegedly punched her.

The backup dancer, Alex Welch, said,

“We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a, ‘Hey, you got a problem with me,’ nothing. And she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat.
“No one should walk up and do that and brush it over, it’s not right.”

Alex’ lawyer said,

“We have contacted the Lovato camp and we are waiting for a response. If we don’t hear back, we will pursue litigation.”

And Demi’s camp responded,

“We are in the process of engaging with Alex’s lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible.”

Sources also added that Demi wasn’t able to reach out to Alex because she was “sequestered” in rehab.

But one story that has been identified as positively untrue is the notion that the “Sonny with a Chance” babe is pregnant. Her rep told TMZ it’s 100% false.


However, Radar is reporting that there could be a video recording on Demi snorting cocaine and drinking heavily.

An insider revealed, "Demi was belligerent, being slutty and doing coke all over the house. The guy who hosted the party shot multiple videos of this and what I've seen with my eyes, Demi is screaming, 'F**k all of you, I'm famous, I don't care what any of you think of me the whole world loves me.' He shot her in the bathroom as she was finishing a line (of cocaine)."

As an update to the Demi Lovato rehab story, it seems there could be much more to the Disney darling’s issues than previously thought.

According to the New York Daily News, Demi has been indulging in cocaine and alcohol while out on the road, and they have a source to corroborate the claims.


Texas college student Brian Payne told Life & Style magazine that Miss Lovato couldn’t get enough when it came to partying.

“She was doing line after line [of cocaine] like a pro- and she was 17 at the time,” said Payne. Another unnamed source added, “Demi’s been on a tear lately. She’ll chug booze straight from the bottle.”

The source added, "Since Joe dumped her, Demi's been depressed and drinking a lot. It's been hard for her to keep working so closely with Joe."

The rep didn’t specify the nature of Lovato’s problems.

But a source close to Lovato’s family tells PEOPLE, “She was bullied in school. She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. … Demi is taking control by getting help.”

An insider explained, "As she did on most nights off, Demi invited her band, dancers and her parents to dinner. Afterward, she broke off with a very small group."

The next day, it was found that they’d been having a little too much fun. "When tour management found out about this, they talked to the people involved, including Demi. She reacted badly and perceived that someone on tour had told on her."

Then, Lovato confronted a dancer and got into a physical fight. "Afterwards, Demi felt awful about her behavior and realized she needed to take personal responsibility for it. Demi Lovato Buys Her Family A House

I don't write about the younger stars of Disney very often, but I thought this was just too sweet to pass up. Demi Lovato celebrated her 18th birthday yesterday and instead of getting presents - she was giving them!

The 'Camp Rock 2' and 'Sonny with a Chance' star bought her family a new house just outside of Los Angeles. Demi will live on the same property - but in her own house on the back part of the land. I'm sure it will be nice to be close to her family, but still have that privacy and feeling of being on her own for the first time.

"It's got pretty much everything you could possibly imagine in it," she says. "It's the most beautiful, homey-feeling house. I love it."

She may be an adult now, but she's not too old to appreciate the coolest feature of the house:

"the pool has a water slide, which is really cool,"
