Taylor Momsen Wants a Boyfriend

Taylor Momsen is completely focused on her music career these days, but she admits she'd like to settle down with a guy in the future.

When asked if she is looking for love, she told BANG Showbiz: “Do I have time to meet guys? Well, at the moment not particularly, I don’t have a boyfriend right now.

“I love what I’m doing and I’m really proud of the record and excited about the tour, which is all positive. But, you know, I’m a girl. It’s not a priority for me but I’m a chick and every girl wants a guy. There’s no one off the top of my head who takes my fancy though.”

The 17-year-old star also admitted traveling the world with her band hasn't been as fun or glamorous as she initially expected it to be.

She explained: “The thing people don’t understand is that touring or traveling or whatever you do in my position means you go to all these cool places all over the world but you see everything from a car window. You don’t get to see much of the city or meet people at all. It’s different to how I would have thought it would be. It’s not just about the parties.”

She’s never been one for modesty, and last night (February 8) Taylor Momsen was spotted at the premiere of “Never Say Never” in a jaw-dropping getup.

The “Gossip Girl” gal showed off her backside in an S&M-inspired black ensemble with thigh-high stockings and black platform heels.

In career news, Taylor recently revealed that she’d love to have a musical collaboration with Oasis rock star Noel Gallagher as well as the legendary Paul McCartney.

“I'd love to write with Noel Gallagher. I'd do a song with all of Oasis but I'd love to write a song with Noel."

Taylor Momsen is a workaholic. The singer / actress doesn’t mind putting in long hours on the set and loves constantly improving her career.

“My best friends come on tour with me, I’m so close with my band so that’s fantastic. It’s the best job, you get to be with who you love and be with your friends all the time. There’s no complaints. I’m working 24 hours a day and that’s probably the one thing people don’t know about me, that I’m a workaholic and I can’t stop. But I love what I do so it’s always fun.”

I forgot how much energy a 17-year-old has. If only we could bottle that up!!

Taylor Momsen also told BANG Showbiz that she doesn’t consider herself a role model. We’ve heard that one before:

“I don’t want to consider myself to be a role model, that’s too much pressure for anyone to take on. I didn’t get into this industry to become a role model.
“I got into it very young and because I love music I still have that drive. I’m not happy if I’m not making music, it’s a simple as that. It’s a need. So if I inspire people who need to do what I do and want to have the same drive to work really hard then that’s great but don’t try to be me, be yourself. That’s the only foundation in this industry because it’s so critical and difficult.”

The Pretty Reckless album, ‘Light Me Up’, will release this Monday.

It wasn't long ago that Taylor Momsen blamed her "damaged" and abrasive attitude on her parents, who forced her into modeling and acting so early.

Now she appears to be backing off that sentiment.

The Gossip Girl star tells Kerrang! magazine (UK) that her comments were taken out of context when she said her folks made her "miserable" and "upset."

"No two year old wants to be working, but I had no choice," Taylor said. "My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have friends. I didn't have a real life."

In a rare moment of softness, Taylor Momsen now lets her parents off the hook, revealing she didn't really mean to slam mom and dad, who felt "horrible" about all this.

"I love my mom and dad. Maybe I didn't have the childhood people think you should have, but I still went through the ages, I was still a child," she says now.

"Maybe it wasn't a conventional one, but you know, I like where I am now so it's OK."
We like where she is too. Now if she would just smile once in awhile ...

“I kind of woke up one morning and was like, ‘Oh I see what’s happening, I get everything.’ “I woke up and was like, ‘I get it, I’m a product.’ “

The Pretty Reckless singer – who started acting on ‘Gossip Girl’ when she was 14 – wasn’t prepared for fame.

“Fame just kind of happens overnight. No one prepares you for it. On ‘Gossip Girl’, I was just going to work, doing what I’ve always done, and then all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Woah!’ “But you get used to it. You ignore it – because whatever people say about me doesn’t bother me at all. If you’re in high school or college or at work, someone’s not going to like you. It’s inevitable. But it doesn’t mean anything.”

“I’ve got my six best friends, and three of them are on tour with me the whole time so that’s awesome. It’s not sad or anything for me. I like that.”

Well, six close friends isn’t too bad! I suspect she really needs some time to just hang out and be a teen.

Remember when we told you that Little ‘J’ had been put on indefinite hiatus from Gossip Girl due to Taylor Momsen’s rebellious behavior? Well Taylor Momsen is finally speaking out about the rumor, and calling it ‘BS’. Momsen spoke to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet about the whether or not her days with Gossip Girl are numbered or not;

“It’s complete BS. I’m still on the show. Please don’t buy the crap of the magazines.
“Normally, I don’t even feel the need to address these rumors,”

Wow, even when she’s addressing rumors about her so-called bratty behavior she can still manage to sound bratty. If you watch Gossip Girl you would have noticed an evident lack of Little J so far this season, and if you’re like me, you don’t mind!
Taylor did go on to say that her character on the show is becoming more like her in real life;

“At the end, Jenny’s come to resemble me more, when you compare it with the beginning of the series,”

And maybe that’s why we haven’t seen so much of her this season? What do you think of Little J’s lack of screen time this year?

In a radio interview in New Zealand, Momsen joked “I was raised Catholic. I f*cked a priest once — I’m just kidding.” Ha….ha? Look, we’re not Catholic and our sensibilities aren’t that delicate, but what are you trying to prove? We get it! You are edgy! You win the Edgy Award 2010! Congrats!

Taylor later got into feminist mode in the interview when she said answered to people who criticized her for discussing her vibrator. ”I’m not a whore for masturbating, so f*ck you if you want to call me one. Here's 'Gossip Girl' star (and rock singer) Taylor Momsen promoting the 'Material Girl' clothing line. That's the line Madonna and her teenage daughter Lourdes created.

I didn't know Taylor was associated with this clothing line, but if what she's wearing is indicative of the line, then it makes sense. And it's good to see Taylor in some pants! (And I mean that in a nice way :)

Taylor Momsen: Material Girl Makes Debut at Macy’s

Taylor Momsen is the face of “Material Girl,” Madonna’s new fashion brand, also co-designed by her 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes Leon. Taylor was spotted at the launch of the Fashion Brand at Macy’s Herald Square.

Taylor wearing a black leather jacket and skinny black jeans, made an appearance along with band-mate guitarist Ben Phillips on the stage where she sang title track from their debut album, “Light Me Up” and its first single, “Make Me Wanna Die.”

As she told Speak Easy,

“It is a collection for everyone; any type of girl can wear these clothes because it’s not just girly-girl or tomboy or rock. It’s very eclectic and fits me in that way.”

She also had high praise for Madonna as she said,”I really didn’t go in with any expectations. But Madonna is so completely down-to-earth; a really nice woman.” And there are also some questions being raised on whether Taylor should be allowed to endorse Material Girl because of its revealing clothing line. And Momsen is just a teenager.

As Telegraph reports,

“One shot shows her in a black and white mini skirt, dark nail polish and biker boots. Another shot shows her posing in a low-cut Grey mini dress and fishnet tights.
